Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elderly Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to elderly individuals in a safe and comfortable environment. The Elderly Care Assistant will work closely with other team members to ensure the highest level of care is provided to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Providing emotional and social support to residents
- Administering medication and monitoring health status
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Certification in nursing or elderly care preferred
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Clean criminal background check
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform other physical tasks as needed
